Kathmandu - In a significant address during the Everest Summiteers Summit 2025 on Tuesday, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, underscored the collective responsibility of safeguarding the Himalayas, describing them as not merely mountains but as "bridges of civilization, culture, and coexistence."
The event, which brought together climbers from around the world, served as a platform to celebrate the achievements of mountaineers and discuss the pressing need for Himalayan preservation.
