Kathmandu, Nepal – The World Bank Group has introduced its comprehensive Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Nepal, covering the fiscal years 2025 to 2031. This strategic initiative aims to address critical challenges and seize opportunities for Nepal's sustainable development.
The CPF outlines three key outcomes:
1. Enhanced Inclusive Support Systems to improve human capital development and social protection.
2. Sustainable Infrastructure and Resilient Communities to foster climate-resilient growth and digital connectivity.
3. Growth in Private Sector and Livelihood Opportunities to boost economic diversification and employment creation.
With a focus on strategic priorities such as renewable energy, education, and disaster resilience, the CPF underscores partnerships with the Government of Nepal, private entities, and civil society to ensure impactful implementation. Key interventions include advancing green initiatives, promoting financial inclusion, and improving healthcare services.
