Lalitpur - Kantipur Pharmaceuticals Lab Limited (KPL), a Nepal-based animal healthcare company, successfully held its Second Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, marking another milestone in its journey toward strengthening veterinary and livestock health services in the country.
Established in 2073 B.S., KPL has steadily positioned itself as a growing player in Nepal’s veterinary pharmaceutical sector, focusing on improving animal health and productivity through gold-standard veterinary solutions and need-based innovations. The AGM reviewed the company’s progress, operational achievements, and future strategic direction in line with its motto, “Together For Livestock Health.”
During the meeting, the company highlighted its expanding portfolio of feed supplements, feed nutrition premixes, phytochemical products, and allopathic medicines designed for dairy cattle, equines, poultry, swine, and companion animals. These products aim to support enhanced productivity while maintaining safety, efficacy, and quality standards.
KPL management emphasized that the company’s growth is strongly supported by its professional technical and marketing teams and an efficient nationwide distribution network, enabling timely delivery of veterinary products across Nepal through specialty distributors and authorized local dealers. The company also reiterated its commitment to attracting experienced professionals from the veterinary and pharmaceutical industries to maintain consistent product quality.
Looking ahead, KPL shared its plans to pursue internationally recognized certifications, including ISO-9001 (Quality Management System), ISO-14001 (Environmental Management System), FAMI-QS for its Feed Division, and WHO-GMP for its Allopathic Division, reflecting its intention to align with global standards in manufacturing and management practices.
Reaffirming its long-term vision, the company stated its aspiration to be recognized as a national and international industry leader, contributing to the sustainable advancement of Nepal’s animal and poultry sectors. Its mission remains focused on supporting farmers, integrators, and veterinarians by becoming a reliable and trusted partner in animal healthcare.
As Nepal’s livestock and poultry sectors continue to play a vital role in food security and rural livelihoods, KPL’s second AGM underscored the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and responsible growth in the veterinary industry.
