Nepal Infrastructures Investment Fund Concludes 2nd Extra-ordinary Special General Meeting in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, October 2, 2026: Nepal Infrastructures Investment Fund Limited (NIIFL) concluded its 2nd Extra-ordinary Special General Meeting (SGM) in Kathmandu today, with shareholders deliberating on a range of significant corporate and strategic agendas.
The meeting included an agenda on the issuance of right shares in a 3:1 ratio, along with a proposal to authorize the company’s Board of Directors to undertake necessary actions related to the proposed share issuance.IMG_20261002_172043-1790941045.jpg
Shareholders also considered agendas concerning merger and acquisition-related matters, reflecting the company’s consideration of potential strategic corporate transactions. The meeting further addressed a proposal to amend the company’s Articles of Association in line with the decisions and requirements arising from the meeting.
The conclusion of the SGM marks another step in the company’s corporate decision-making process as NIIFL considers measures related to its capital structure, organizational framework and potential strategic opportunities.
