Nepal today marked the 10th Constitution Day, commemorating a decade since the promulgation of its historic constitution that established the nation as a federal democratic republic.
On this occasion, Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister Sushila Karki delivered a national address, reflecting on the journey of the past decade and reaffirming the government’s commitment to building a more inclusive, resilient, and peaceful Nepal. She emphasized the need to uphold the spirit of the constitution while advancing social justice, good governance, and sustainable development.
“Constitution Day is not only a reminder of our collective struggle and achievements but also a responsibility to protect democratic values and ensure dignity for all Nepalis,” the Prime Minister said. As part of the celebrations, government institutions, civil society, and international partners have renewed their pledges to work together for a future where no citizen is left behind.
