Kathmandu, July 17, 2025
King’s College, a leading institution in entrepreneurship and business education in Nepal, is set to host the second edition of the Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum (NEF) on July 26–27, 2025. This year’s forum will be held under the theme “Towards Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem” and aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development through entrepreneurship.
The two-day international event will bring together over 25 speakers and experts from Nepal, Finland, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Kosovo, and other countries. With participation from more than 200 individuals—including entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, policymakers, and government representatives—the forum will serve as a vibrant platform for sharing knowledge, networking, and addressing the challenges and opportunities in the domain of sustainable entrepreneurship.
According to the organizers, the forum seeks to create an inclusive space for dialogue that bridges academic research with real-world entrepreneurial practices. Sessions will include paper presentations, interactive discussions, showcases of innovative ventures, and networking events designed to inspire and empower participants.
“Such an entrepreneurship conference in Nepal fosters innovation, creates vital networks, supports economic growth, tackles unemployment, promotes sustainable development, and helps young entrepreneurs overcome unique challenges in a developing country context,” said Chittaranjan Pandey, Conference Convener and Professor at King’s College.
A central goal of the forum is to align entrepreneurial practices with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging business models that are both socially responsible and environmentally conscious. By promoting knowledge exchange and sustainable business strategies, the NEF aims to contribute meaningfully to Nepal’s economic resilience and global entrepreneurial discourse.
The Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum continues to position itself as a significant initiative in shaping the future of entrepreneurship in South Asia, especially in advancing a sustainable and inclusive business ecosystem.
