Dhading, July 6 - Nadep Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. successfully concluded its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Naubise, Dhading, under the chairmanship of President Pitambar Prasad Acharya.
The meeting reviewed and discussed the institution's major corporate and governance matters for the fiscal year 2081/82 (2024/25). Shareholders considered and endorsed a range of important agendas aimed at strengthening the institution's governance, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic direction.
Among the key matters presented during the AGM were the financial highlights of the fiscal year 2081/82, the appointment of an external auditor, the election of directors, and the conversion of the institution's share structure. The meeting also deliberated on proposals related to possible merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, reflecting the institution's preparedness to explore strategic opportunities within Nepal's financial sector, subject to regulatory requirements.
In addition, shareholders approved an agenda authorizing the Board of Directors to undertake necessary decisions and actions within its legal and regulatory mandate. The AGM also considered and approved amendments to the institution's Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association to align with prevailing regulatory and operational requirements.
The successful completion of the AGM marks another governance milestone for Nadep Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., reaffirming its commitment to transparency, institutional accountability, and sustainable growth. The resolutions passed during the meeting are expected to support the institution's future strategic planning and corporate governance framework while enabling it to respond effectively to the evolving financial sector in Nepal.
