In a groundbreaking initiative, Teachers of Tomorrow is set to host its inaugural chat show, Eco Echoes, on June 5, coinciding with World Environment Day. This hour-long session promises to be an engaging and transformative dialogue aimed at integrating sustainability into education, empowering educators to inspire eco-conscious practices in classrooms.

Moderated by Dr. Tripti Singh, Eco Echoes will bring together three distinguished speakers to amplify passionate voices at the intersection of education and environmental action. The session will explore critical themes, including turning classrooms into “green zones of change,” real-life stories of student-led sustainability projects, infusing environmental consciousness into teaching practices, and actionable steps to align global environmental goals with local classroom activities. Practical tools and strategies for eco-friendly teaching will also be shared, making the session a must-attend for educators committed to sustainability.

Ms. Vandana Arora

Cambridge Ambassador and Head of Nahar International School
With over 25 years of experience, Vandana Arora has been a torchbearer of progressive, learning-centric education. As the founding Head of Nahar International School, she has played a pivotal role in shaping a curriculum centered on equality and fairness. Her expertise spans IGCSE, A levels, and IBDP frameworks, and she has a rich history of leadership in various prestigious educational institutions. Vandana will bring her insights into developing holistic, inclusive, and sustainability-driven education.

Ms. Tushita Rawat

Programme Manager, Environment Education at Centre for Science and Environment (CSE)
An advocate for sustainability and climate awareness, Tushita Rawat has dedicated over a decade to promoting action-based environmental education in schools and colleges across India and beyond. Her work at CSE emphasizes engaging students in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that connect them with global environmental challenges. Tushita’s contribution to the session will focus on equipping educators with tools to foster eco-consciousness in young minds.

Ms. Debika Chatterji

Director Principal, JBCN International School, Borivali
A visionary leader with accolades like the Ethical Educational Leadership Award and Progressive Principal of the Year Award, Debika Chatterji has championed integrating the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals into her school’s ethos. Her holistic and forward-thinking approach has set a benchmark for education that nurtures global citizens with a strong sense of social responsibility.
