Nepal’s Ayesha Chaudhary Secures Engineering Position at Google

Kathmandu / Kanchanpur - A young tech talent from western Nepal, Ayesha Chaudhary, has drawn attention after reportedly securing a software engineering role at the global technology company Google.
Originally from Kanchanpur District, Chaudhary’s journey from a small town in Nepal’s Far-Western region to one of the world’s most competitive technology companies is being widely celebrated on social media and among Nepali technology communities.
According to information shared through professional profiles and online posts, Chaudhary studied Computer Science and Engineering at Chitkara University in India. During her academic journey, she focused on software development and technology innovation, which eventually led her to opportunities with global tech companies.
Reports indicate that she first gained experience through an internship at Google before receiving a full-time opportunity as a software engineer. Such positions at the company are known for their highly competitive recruitment processes that assess candidates through multiple technical interviews and coding evaluations.
Her achievement is being viewed as an inspiration for many young students in Nepal—particularly girls—who are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). In recent years, Nepali students have increasingly entered global technology companies, highlighting the growing presence of Nepali talent in the international tech sector.
However, as of now, detailed confirmation from official announcements or major international media outlets remains limited, and much of the information about Chaudhary’s appointment has circulated through professional networking platforms and community pages.
Despite this, her reported success reflects the broader potential of Nepal’s young generation in the global digital economy.
