A municipal-level workshop on water and climate change risk management concluded on 25 September in Galang Municipality under the chairmanship of Mayor Guru Prasad Bhattarai.

The event, organized by the Nepal Water Conservation Foundation, focused on discussions regarding the impacts of climate change on development activities and water resources, as well as strategies for mitigation.

Deputy Mayor Hema Neupane, leaders of major political parties active in Galang, all ward chairpersons, executive members, and other concerned stakeholders participated in the workshop, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to address climate risks.
