Kathmandu, October 11, 2026 - Shubhaprava Saving & Credit Co-operative Ltd. has successfully concluded its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Navadurga Party Venue in Sukedhara, Kathmandu.
The meeting was scheduled to discuss and make decisions on various organisational, financial, administrative and governance-related matters, as outlined in the meeting notice issued to shareholders.
The agenda included approval of the annual report of the Board of Directors, the annual audit report for Fiscal Year 2082/83, and the report of the Accounts Supervision Committee for the same fiscal year. The meeting also included the proposed ratification of decisions made by the Board of Directors during FY 2082/83.
Other key agenda items covered the appointment of an auditor and determination of remuneration for FY 2083/84, amendments to the institution's by-laws, and approval and revision of internal procedures. The meeting's agenda further included matters concerning the distribution of share dividends and the Protected Capital Return Fund, the proposed sale of non-financial assets owned by the institution, and the selection of a representative to authenticate the minutes of the General Assembly.
The AGM provided a formal platform for shareholders to consider the institution's financial reporting, administrative procedures, governance arrangements and other matters related to its operations.
The meeting was convened following a decision made at the 155th meeting of the institution's Board of Directors, held on Bhadra 11, 2083 B.S.
The successful completion of the AGM marks an important occasion in the institution's annual governance process, providing an opportunity to review its activities and address matters concerning its future operations.
