Kalikot, Nepal - The Village Development and Save the Environment Forum (VDSEF Nepal) has completed 32 years of its establishment, stepping into its 33rd year with a renewed commitment to social transformation, equity, and sustainable livelihoods.
According to information shared on the occasion, VDSEF Nepal was officially registered on 30 Chaitra 2051 (12 April 1994) at the District Administration Office in Kalikot. Over the past three decades, the organization has worked closely with local communities, focusing on dignity, inclusion, and improved living conditions in one of Nepal’s remote regions.
The organization highlighted that its journey has been shaped through collaboration with community members, development partners, and supporters. Its long-standing efforts have contributed to grassroots-level change, particularly in areas related to social equity, environmental protection, and livelihood enhancement.
Marking the anniversary, VDSEF Nepal expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who have supported its mission over the years. The organization reaffirmed its vision of building an equitable and prosperous society grounded in dignity and self-respect, emphasizing continued partnership and community engagement as it moves forward.
As Nepal continues to face challenges related to rural development and environmental sustainability, institutions like VDSEF Nepal play a crucial role in bridging gaps at the local level through participatory and community-driven approaches.
