Kathmandu, Nepal – Amid growing concerns about waste management and unemployment in Nepal, Deego Nepal, an award-winning sustainable lifestyle brand, has been transforming the narrative around eco-friendly innovation and empowerment. Founded by 29-year-old entrepreneur Ms. Anjana Malla from Bardiya, the brand focuses on creating sustainable products from natural resources that often go to waste, such as sponge gourd netting, Kans grass, and bamboo.

Deego Nepal’s efforts have not only provided employment to over 100 individuals but also introduced over 75 eco-friendly alternatives to plastic. From handcrafted mats, baskets, and rugs to scrubbers, the products are designed to promote a greener and more sustainable future.

Initially, Anjana began selling her products online. “After continuous struggle, I now have two shops in Boudha and Lalitpur and am running a successful business,” she shares. These milestones reflect her unwavering commitment to sustainability and community empowerment.

Deego Nepal’s tagline, “Eco Products. Women Powered. Impact Driven,” highlights its mission to empower women through impactful initiatives. The brand exemplifies how environmental consciousness and social responsibility can go hand in hand to drive change.

With its focus on eco-products and community-driven solutions, Deego Nepal has been instrumental in creating opportunities for women and marginalized communities while addressing pressing environmental challenges.

As the demand for sustainable products grows globally, Deego Nepal is paving the way for a greener, impact-driven future. The brand’s success story serves as a testament to the potential of sustainable entrepreneurship in fostering innovation, empowerment, and environmental stewardship.

Ecosphere News celebrates Deego Nepal's journey and its inspiring impact on society and the environment.
