Kathmandu, January 15, 2025– The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported a partial impact of the western low-pressure system on Nepal's weather conditions. This influence is expected to cause light rainfall in one or two areas of the Sudurpaschim Province.
The division highlighted that hilly regions across the country would experience partial cloud cover, while other areas are anticipated to remain mostly clear. However, some parts of the Terai region continue to face foggy and misty conditions, which may persist throughout the day.
Additionally, a few locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions are likely to witness light snowfall. This weather development could affect daily life, public health, transportation, tourism activities, and air travel. The division has advised citizens and stakeholders to exercise caution and stay updated on weather forecasts.
