Akhanda Savings and Credit Cooperative Holds 18th Annual General Meeting in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Akhanda Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited, located in Kalanki, Kathmandu, was successfully held on Saturday, 14 Kartik 2083, under the chairmanship of the institution’s Chairperson, Damodar Lamsal. The meeting was held with the participation of the institution’s Founder Chairperson, Pramod Adhikari, as the Chief Guest.
The AGM endorsed the institution’s annual report and financial report following discussions and suggestions from members.
During the meeting, Chairperson Lamsal presented the annual report, Treasurer Indira Adhikari Koirala presented the financial report, and Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, Coordinator of the Audit Supervision Committee, presented the audit report. The meeting also held discussions on the balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement and other financial statements as of the end of Ashadh 2083.
For the fiscal year 2082/83, the institution reported a share capital of NPR 45,455,500 and total assets and liabilities amounting to NPR 321,490,165.45. The cooperative recorded total savings of NPR 729,158.67 during the fiscal year.
