Delivering the keynote address, former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai highlighted the profound transformations reshaping the international order. He pointed to the intensifying competition among major powers, the increasing influence of economic instruments and technological advancements in international relations, and the implications these developments hold for Nepal's foreign policy priorities and strategic choices.
In his concluding remarks, Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal stressed that Nepal must respond to the changing global environment with clarity, confidence, and prudence. He emphasized that the country's foreign policy should remain firmly rooted in Nepal's national interests while advancing the aspirations and well-being of its people.
The programme was attended by ministers, members of parliament, former ministers, heads of diplomatic missions, government officials, and other distinguished guests. To encourage broader public engagement, the event was also livestreamed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official Facebook and YouTube platforms.
