Kathmandu, Nepal - On June 21, 2025, the book Sugauli Sandhi, Nepalma Nagarikta ra British Gorkhaj (Sugauli Treaty, Citizenship in Nepal, and British Gorkhas), authored by prominent constitutional expert and senior advocate Dr. Chandrakanta Gyawali, was officially launched at the Himalayan Hotel in Kupondole.
The event was graced by former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the chief guest. Organized by the British Gorkha Citizenship Continuity Campaign Committee, the ceremony brought together dignitaries, scholars, and members of the public interested in the historical and socio-political discourse of Nepal.
