Kathmandu, April 26, 2025 – The second day of the International Snow Leopard Conference 2025 is underway in Kathmandu, bringing together experts, policymakers, and practitioners from snow leopard range countries. The conference officially commenced yesterday with inaugural ceremonies led by the Hon'ble Minister for Forests and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Mishra, Secretary of the Ministry. The session was chaired by Dr. Naresh Subedi, Member-Secretary of the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC).
