Bahubali (Bhange) Waterfall in Rasuwa Emerging as a Must-Visit Nature Tourism Destination

Rasuwa, Nepal: Bahubali Waterfall, locally known as Bhange Waterfall, is rapidly gaining recognition as one of Nepal's most spectacular natural attractions. Situated in Dadagaun, Ward No. 2 of Uttargaya Rural Municipality in Rasuwa District, the majestic waterfall has become an increasingly popular destination for both domestic and international tourists seeking breathtaking landscapes and peaceful natural surroundings.
The waterfall plunges dramatically from a steep cliff, creating a stunning cascade that is especially impressive during the monsoon season. The surrounding lush green hills, terraced farmlands, drifting clouds, and picturesque mountain scenery make the site a favorite among photographers, nature enthusiasts, and adventure travelers. As shown in the image, the powerful waterfall flows through rugged cliffs into the valley below, offering visitors an unforgettable panoramic view.
Often referred to as "Bahubali Waterfall" because of its resemblance to the iconic waterfall featured in the Baahubali film, the site is officially known as Bhange Waterfall, while "Mailung" refers to the nearby area. The destination has witnessed growing popularity through social media, contributing significantly to tourism in Rasuwa.
Local tourism stakeholders believe that improved infrastructure, proper conservation, and responsible tourism practices can further establish Bahubali (Bhange) Waterfall as one of Nepal's premier eco-tourism destinations, benefiting local communities while preserving the area's exceptional natural beauty.
