Tanahun, Nepal: A three-day Rock Climbing Training Program organized at Bimal Nagar in Tanahun has been successfully concluded, equipping 20 participants with essential rock-climbing techniques and practical skills to enhance their competence in adventure tourism.
The training was conducted under the Professional Mountain Leader (PML) Fundamental Skill program, with a focus on strengthening participants' technical abilities, safety awareness, and professional capacity required for mountain guiding and outdoor adventure activities. The initiative is expected to contribute to the development of a more skilled workforce for Nepal's growing adventure tourism sector.
The Nepal Mountaineering Association expressed its appreciation to the Nepal Tourism Board's Gandaki Province Office for providing financial support that made the training possible. The association also highlighted its commitment to continuing collaboration with the tourism board to organize similar capacity-building programs aimed at promoting safe, professional, and sustainable adventure tourism in Nepal.
