United Modi Hydropower Limited Concludes 12th Annual General Meeting in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, May 10 - United Modi Hydropower Limited has successfully concluded its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu today. The meeting was held at Kalimati Banquet Hall, Kalimati, where shareholders and company representatives discussed the company’s financial performance, future investment strategies, and corporate governance matters for the fiscal year 2081/82.
During the AGM, the company presented and endorsed the financial highlights of the fiscal year 2081/82. Shareholders also approved the appointment of the auditor for the upcoming fiscal year.
The meeting approved the distribution of a 0.36842 percent cash dividend along with 7 percent bonus shares to shareholders. In addition, the AGM endorsed the election of directors and authorized the board to identify and invest in other qualified investment areas as part of the company’s future expansion strategy.
The assembly also passed proposals related to the change of the company’s name and amendments to its Articles of Association, reflecting the company’s evolving strategic and operational direction.
United Modi Hydropower Limited has remained active in Nepal’s hydropower sector, contributing to the country’s growing renewable energy development and investment environment.
