Kathmandu, Nepal - Super Hewa Power Company Limited successfully concluded its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, endorsing several key financial, governance, and regulatory agendas critical to the company’s future operations and expansion in Nepal’s hydropower sector.
During the AGM, shareholders reviewed and approved the financial highlights for the fiscal year 2081/82 (2024/25), reflecting the company’s operational performance and financial position over the past year. The meeting also approved the appointment of an external auditor, ensuring continued financial transparency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Super Hewa Power Company Limited is developing the Super Hewa Khola Hydropower Project, a 6 MW Run-of-River (ROR) type hydropower project located on the Hewa Khola, between Chainpur and Panchkhapan Municipalities in Shankhuwasabha District, Koshi Province, Nepal.
The project lies close to Chainpur, one of Nepal’s oldest Newari towns, highlighting the need for environmentally sensitive and socially responsible development. The hydropower scheme is designed for a discharge capacity of 2.20 cubic meters per second at Q42.5%, including water collection from Khawa Khola at the headworks.

Intake and desander structures at Oringa
Flushing gate at Oringa Khola
Gravel basin
Headrace and penstock pipeline extending approximately 3 kilometers, passing through the Bansghari area
