Kathmandu, August 27, 2025 - Beni Hydropower Project Limited successfully conducted its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Holiday Inn Hotel, Tangal, Kathmandu. The meeting, held at 1:00 PM, brought together shareholders and company representatives to review the company’s progress and approve major decisions shaping its future direction.

During the session, the company presented its financial highlights for fiscal year 2081/82, reflecting operational updates and overall performance. The AGM also appointed a new auditor to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory standards.

One of the key decisions endorsed was the approval of the Board of Directors’ earlier resolutions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strategic growth. Notably, shareholders also approved the plan to issue Initial Public Offering (IPO) shares, marking a significant step toward expanding public participation in the company’s ownership and strengthening its capital base.

The 19th AGM underscored Beni Hydropower Project Limited’s long-term vision of contributing to Nepal’s clean energy development and increasing investor confidence in the country’s hydropower sector.
