Kathmandu, June 1, 2025 – The Marwadi Yuva Manch Economic Forum (MYMEF), in collaboration with Lekha Paramarsha Samiti, organized a detailed session on "Budget Insights 2082" at the Marwadi Sewa Samiti, New Road, Kathmandu. The event aimed to provide expert analysis and perspectives on the fiscal policies outlined in the recently announced national budget.
The program commenced at evening time with a registration and networking session over tea and cookies. Following the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the national anthem, Shri Prakash Kejriwal, President of Marwadi Yuva Manch, delivered a warm welcome address. He emphasized the importance of fiscal awareness and engagement among youth and professionals in understanding Nepal’s economic trajectory.
The highlight of the evening was the keynote session led by Shri Shesh Mani Dahal, a renowned Chartered Accountant (FCA). His in-depth analysis of the budget for the fiscal year 2082 delved into its implications for economic growth, development priorities, and fiscal reforms. This two-hour session included a comprehensive review of key budgetary allocations and policy measures.
The interactive Q&A session that followed allowed attendees to seek clarifications and share their viewpoints on budgetary impacts, fostering a lively and insightful dialogue.
Prominent figures, including Shri Kamlesh Agrawal, President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, and Shri Pramod Agrawal (Chaudhary), President of Marwadi Sewa Samiti Nepal, also addressed the gathering. They praised the efforts of MYMEF in organizing such events to enhance economic literacy and awareness among the public.
The program concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the chief guest and speaker, followed by a closing speech by Bishal Kumar Agrawal, the conveyor of MYMEF. A dinner was hosted for all attendees, marking the end of a successful and informative evening.
