Salleri, Solukhumbu – March 13, 2025
A three-day workshop titled "Programme Induction and Development of Detailed Implementation Plan" was successfully conducted from March 11-13, 2025, in Salleri, Solukhumbu. The event aimed to bolster efforts for improved water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in Koshi Province, with a focus on fostering sustainable recovery and humanitarian support.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from UNICEF Nepal and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), alongside the local implementing partner, Volunteer Corps Nepal, and officials from Solududhkunda Municipality. Participants collaborated to develop actionable strategies for the WASH Response and Recovery Programme, which seeks to address pressing water and sanitation challenges faced by communities in the region.

During the workshop, stakeholders emphasized the need for inclusive and community-driven solutions to ensure sustainable outcomes. The event highlighted critical areas such as access to safe drinking water, improved sanitation infrastructure, and the promotion of hygiene practices to reduce waterborne diseases and enhance public health.FB_IMG_1741838308965-1741838912.jpg
