Kathmandu, March 4, 2025 - A major rupture in the Melamchi water pipeline flooded Thapathali early this morning, causing traffic chaos and disruptions in nearby offices and businesses. Initial investigations suggest the damage occurred during underground electrical work by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
