Lalitpur, January 31, 2025 – Nepal is set to make significant strides in sustainable energy development with the event "Unlocking the Green Monetization of Nepal’s Hydropower: How Nepal’s Power Producers Benefit," hosted at Hotel Himalaya, Kupondole.

The program, organized by the Independent Power Producers' Association of Nepal (IPPAN) in collaboration with the International Hydropower Association (IHA) and ProClime, aims to address the monetization of Nepal’s abundant hydropower resources through green energy solutions.

The event features prominent speakers, including Mr. Erik Solheim, Climate Champion of the Global Renewables Alliance, and Dr. Ram Prasad Dhital, Chairman of the Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC). Other key speakers include Mr. Ganesh Karki, President of IPPAN, and Dr. Maheshwar Dhakal, Joint Secretary and CCMD Chief at the Ministry of Forest and Environment.IMG_20250131_173557-1738377192.jpg
