Kathmandu - The EMIS AI.2 system was officially launched today, at New Baneshwor, marking a significant step in Nepal’s ongoing digital transformation in the education sector.
The event, organized by the AMCNS EMIS Group under the “OneLogin EMIS” platform, brought together educators, IT professionals, and institutional stakeholders to witness the unveiling of an upgraded Education Management Information System (EMIS) integrated with artificial intelligence.
The newly introduced EMIS AI.2 aims to enhance institutional efficiency through smarter data management, improved authentication systems, and AI-supported administrative processes. The platform is expected to support educational institutions in handling student data, streamlining operations, and enabling more data-driven decision-making.
Adding further context to the development, AMCNSS, an IT training and software development organization based in Ghorai-14, Dang, highlighted its broader mission of strengthening Nepal’s digital and technical capacity. In collaboration with NSS Thailand, the organization has been delivering advanced training in DevOps, AWS, and Machine Learning, along with internationally recognized certifications.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Surya Ghale emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for building a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation. He noted that AMCNSS focuses on practical, project-based learning and remote eTraining services for Nepali IT professionals worldwide, both at individual and corporate levels.
“Our goal is to ensure that learners excel in DevOps, AWS, and Machine Learning, becoming highly sought-after professionals who can contribute effectively in any organization,” Ghale stated. He also confirmed that the related program associated with this initiative has been successfully concluded.
AMCNSS’s core services include IT training, software development, cloud services, database administration, and network management-areas that align closely with the technological advancements represented by EMIS AI.2.
The launch reflects a broader trend in Nepal toward integrating artificial intelligence and cloud-based systems into education and institutional management. However, experts note that the long-term success of such systems will depend on effective implementation, accessibility, and capacity building among users.
With increasing collaboration between local institutions and international partners, initiatives like EMIS AI.2 signal Nepal’s commitment to embracing innovation and strengthening its digital ecosystem.
