Kathmandu, Jan 14 - Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited has successfully concluded its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Alpha House Banquet, Alpha Beta Complex, Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
The AGM reviewed the company’s financial highlights for the fiscal year 2081/82 and endorsed key statutory and governance-related agenda items. Among the major decisions, shareholders approved the appointment of an auditor for the forthcoming financial year, in line with prevailing regulatory requirements.
Established in 2017, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited began operations as a private limited company and was converted into a public limited company in July 2022, marking a significant phase in its corporate growth. Since then, the company has been expanding its manufacturing capacity and strengthening its presence in Nepal’s domestic pharmaceutical market.
The company operates an ultra-modern pharmaceutical manufacturing facility at Jugedi-29, Chitwan, covering an area of 22,044 square feet. The plant is equipped with advanced machinery and sophisticated instruments capable of producing a wide range of medicines while aligning with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals has articulated a long-term vision of meeting European quality standards and emerging as a globally competitive pharmaceutical manufacturer.
At present, the facility manufactures medicines across cardio-diabetic, neuropsychiatric, and other specialized therapeutic segments, serving both human and veterinary healthcare needs. The company produces multiple dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, dry syrups, creams, ointments, and eye and ear drops.
Nepal’s pharmaceutical sector has experienced notable growth, particularly in the post-Covid-19 period, driven by rising healthcare awareness and demand for locally produced medicines. In this context, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals’ emphasis on domestic production and quality compliance has been viewed as an important contribution to strengthening national healthcare resilience.
