Kathmandu - Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited successfully concluded its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu. The meeting was held on 14th Poush, 2082, commencing at 11:00 AM, with the participation of shareholders, board members, and senior management.
During the AGM, the bank presented its financial highlights for the fiscal year 2081/82, outlining overall performance, key achievements, and future strategic direction. Shareholders engaged in discussions on the bank’s financial health and governance matters.
The meeting approved the appointment of the auditor for the upcoming fiscal year. Shareholders also endorsed a 0.53 percent cash dividend along with 10 percent bonus shares, reflecting the bank’s commitment to delivering value to its investors.
In addition, the AGM approved proposals to increase the bank’s authorized and paid-up capital, aimed at strengthening its capital base to support future growth and regulatory requirements. Decisions were also taken regarding the change in the structure of the Board of Directors, with the objective of enhancing corporate governance and operational efficiency.
Furthermore, the meeting passed resolutions on the amendment of the Articles of Association, aligning the bank’s legal and operational framework with its evolving business needs and regulatory environment.
