Mustard Fields Turn Gulmi’s Simichaur Golden as Winter Sets In

Gulmi, November 15, 2025
The arrival of winter has transformed the farmlands of Simichaur in Resunga Municipality-10 into a breathtaking sea of yellow, as mustard flowers come into full bloom. The vibrant landscape, captured beautifully in recent photographs, showcases the region’s natural charm and the deep-rooted agricultural traditions of rural Gulmi.

Stretching across expansive fields, the bright yellow mustard flowers create a striking contrast against the lush green forest that borders the farmland. For local farmers, this season marks an important phase in the agricultural calendar-symbolizing hope for a good harvest and the continuation of a cultural rhythm that has shaped livelihoods for generations.

Residents say the blossoming mustard fields not only hold economic value but also draw visitors from nearby areas who come to enjoy the scenic beauty and capture photographs of the golden landscape.

As Nepal’s hill districts embrace the winter chill, scenes like those in Simichaur highlight the harmony between nature, agriculture, and community life.

Ecosphere News will continue bringing stories that celebrate Nepal’s landscapes, environment, and rural livelihoods.
