Nepal’s growing innovation ecosystem received another boost today as the third iCafe - Gateway to Innovation officially opened at Techspire College (Block C), New Baneshwor. The initiative, powered by Idea Studio Nepal, aims to cultivate creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and a culture of innovation among young minds.
The grand opening ceremony, held at 11:00 AM, brought together students, faculty members, young entrepreneurs, and representatives from the innovation and start-up community. The new iCafe space is designed as a dynamic environment where technology, conversation, and creativity blend seamlessly-quite literally where “tech meets taste and ideas brew with coffee.”
The iCafe model, first introduced by Idea Studio Nepal, provides students and aspiring innovators with a platform to brainstorm ideas, collaborate, receive mentorship, and access entrepreneurship-support programs. Over the years, iCafes have become instrumental in helping young people transform creative concepts into viable ventures.
Speaking at the launch, representatives from Idea Studio Nepal highlighted the importance of nurturing innovation-friendly environments across educational institutions. “The iCafe is more than a café-it is a gateway for young innovators to connect, share, and build solutions that can create meaningful social and economic impact,” they said.
With Techspire College now hosting Nepal’s third iCafe, the initiative continues its mission of empowering youth-led entrepreneurship and strengthening Nepal’s innovation landscape.
The iCafe at Techspire College is officially open from today, inviting students to engage, inspire, and innovate.
