Kathmandu, August 19 – Nepal’s largest automotive exhibition, NADA Auto Show 2025, opened today at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Center in Kathmandu, inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The six-day event (August 19–24) marks a milestone in Nepal’s evolving automotive landscape, with global innovations and futuristic technologies on display.
The opening day was marked by high excitement and groundbreaking showcases. Among the most talked-about attractions were the Deepal eVTOL Flying Taxi, presented as a futuristic urban mobility solution; Unitree humanoid robots, demonstrating advanced robotics capabilities; and a robotic dog, which drew crowds with its lifelike movement and agility. These technologies, though global in origin, are being highlighted as examples of how the mobility sector is shifting toward automation, electrification, and AI integration.
Organizers described the Auto Show as not only a platform for automobile brands and dealers but also as a space where Nepali consumers, policymakers, and innovators can engage with cutting-edge developments in mobility. Exclusive offers and promotional schemes from automobile companies are also expected to draw strong participation from visitors and buyers.
With Nepal’s government emphasizing electric mobility as part of its climate commitments, industry observers believe that platforms like NADA Auto Show could play a key role in shaping market trends, influencing consumer choice, and inspiring local innovation.
The Auto Show will continue through August 24, offering more product launches, interactive experiences, and discussions on the future of transport in Nepal.
