The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality and Budhinanda Municipality, has launched a transformative initiative to uplift apple farmers in Nepal. Supported by Norway under the #Energy4Food program, this innovative Apple Orchard Management Campaign is equipping farmers with modern techniques to revolutionize apple cultivation.

With over 100 participants already trained, the campaign focuses on introducing best practices and sustainable solutions to boost productivity and improve apple quality in these regions. This initiative not only strengthens local agricultural systems but also highlights the potential of renewable energy in building resilient agri-food systems.
