Dhading - Infrastructure development activities under Ward No. 8 of Galchhi Rural Municipality have moved forward as the Galchhi-Goganpani-Chakmake road has reached the blacktopping stage, marking a significant milestone in the road upgrading process.
According to the available information, construction activities including road upgrading, drain management, gravel rolling and base preparation are being carried out at an accelerated pace. The project is expected to improve the overall quality and durability of the road while enhancing year-round accessibility for local communities.
Local stakeholders view the progress of the road as an important step toward strengthening rural connectivity and improving transportation facilities in the area. Better road infrastructure is also expected to support access to education, health services, local markets and other essential services, contributing to broader socio-economic development.
Once completed, the upgraded road is anticipated to make travel more convenient for residents and create opportunities for local economic activities and improved daily life in Ward No. 8 and surrounding communities.
