Kathmandu, Nepal - Goodwill Finance Limited successfully concluded its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, marking another milestone in its three-decade-long journey in Nepal’s financial sector.
Established in 2051 BS (1995 AD) under the Financial Company Act 2042 and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, the company has positioned itself as a stable and expanding financial institution. With an authorized capital of Rs. 1 billion and issued capital of approximately Rs. 946.1 million, the institution maintains a balanced ownership structure-51 percent held by promoters and 49 percent by the general public. Its shares are publicly traded on the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited.
During the AGM, the company highlighted its continued commitment to strengthening Nepal’s economic landscape by investing across diverse sectors in line with the country’s economic liberalization policy. Headquartered in Hattisar, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, Goodwill Finance has expanded its footprint across major urban and semi-urban centers including Butwal, Itahari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Bhairahawa, among others.
The management emphasized that customer-centric services, financial stability, and operational efficiency remain at the core of its success. Over the years, the company has built a reputation for delivering tailored financial solutions to both individuals and businesses.
Looking ahead, Goodwill Finance outlined its strategic priorities, focusing on increasing its capital base, expanding its loan and deposit portfolios, and extending its branch network to underserved regions across Nepal. The institution aims to enhance accessibility to financial services while ensuring sustainable returns for its shareholders.
Reiterating its mission to become a market leader, the company stressed its commitment to delivering high profitability, innovative financial products, and superior customer service. Its long-term vision remains centered on operational excellence and building lasting relationships with customers.
