A global conversation on the vital link between forests and water is set to take place on 19 March, as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) hosts a special event marking both International Day of Forests and World Water Day 2026.
The virtual event, scheduled for 11:00 (UTC+1), will bring together international experts, policymakers, and practitioners to highlight the crucial role forests play in sustaining global water systems.
