The vehicle was officially launched during a grand ceremony at the Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu, drawing attention from industry experts, EV enthusiasts, and environmental advocates.
Manufactured in India, the MG Windsor EV enters the Nepalese market as a sophisticated option for families and professionals alike. The vehicle combines spaciousness, luxury, and advanced technology, offering a business-class experience on wheels. Its 135° recline aero-lounge seats, 604 litres of boot space, and a 15.6-inch Grandview touch display exemplify its emphasis on comfort and connectivity.
The Windsor EV is powered by a 38kW battery, delivering a robust range of 332 km on a single charge—making it suitable for both urban commutes and long-distance drives. Its wireless charging system, seamless Apple and Android CarPlay integration, and leatherette seats contribute to its high-end appeal, while smart flush door handles add to its streamlined, futuristic design.
In terms of safety, the vehicle boasts six airbags, an IP67 rating, and has successfully passed 39 stringent safety tests. Its 6-speaker audio system ensures a superior in-cabin entertainment experience, while a ground clearance of 186mm enhances its adaptability on Nepal’s varied terrains.
Buyers will also benefit from an 8-year battery warranty, reinforcing MG's commitment to long-term quality and reliability. With a growing nationwide dealer and service network, the company promises after-sales support and customer care across Nepal.
