Pokhara - The 21st edition of the Open Paragliding Championship officially commenced on Thursday in the scenic lakeside city, bringing together adventure sports enthusiasts from across the globe.
According to the Nepal Air Sports Association, a total of 63 paragliding pilots representing nine countries are competing in the three-day event. The event highlights Nepal’s growing reputation as a premier destination for aerial sports tourism.
The competition follows a well-established flight route, with participants taking off from the popular hilltop of Sarangkot and landing at Khapaudi along the shores of Phewa Lake.
