Abu Dhabi - This year October 10-11, 2025, Business and finance leaders from across the globe will gather this October in Abu Dhabi for the first-ever High-Level Business Summit at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, the world’s largest conservation event.
For the first time in the Congress’s history, a dedicated high-level forum will bring together the private sector to accelerate the transition toward a nature-positive economy. The two-day Summit, scheduled for 10–11 October 2025, aims to spotlight credible business actions, foster innovative partnerships, and close the gap between corporate ambition and measurable impacts for nature.
Organizers say the event represents a unique opportunity to position business and finance as critical drivers of conservation. By embedding the Summit within the IUCN Congress, it ensures that sustainability leaders, policymakers, scientists, and civil society are directly engaged with the private sector on shared solutions for biodiversity loss, climate change, and sustainable development.
The discussions will focus on translating commitments into action, demonstrating how industries can lead transformative change #ForNature while aligning growth with environmental responsibility.
With mounting global attention on the role of business in reversing biodiversity decline, the Abu Dhabi Summit is expected to be a landmark moment in building trust, accountability, and innovation for a nature-positive future.
